Police Arrests Suspected Car Thieves, Recover Stolen Car

The Federal Capital Territory Police operatives attached to the FCT Command Special Anti-Robbery Squad, while acting on a tipoff have trailed and arrested suspected thieves,  Auwal Baba and Waslat Saka in their respective hide-outs at Kaduna and Dutse Alhaji in the FCT.

Recalled that that on May, 14, 2016 at about 11:45pm, the suspects,  was reported to have connived and lured their unsuspecting victim to pipeline area in Dutse Alhaji where they allegedly robbed him of his car Peugeot 406, cash sum of N409,000, one HP laptop, one Ipad, one camera, one Samsung galaxy and other valuables;

Baba Auwal is a 30-year-old male, of N0.1 Gangara road, Tudun Wada, Kaduna State, while Waslat Saka, is a 30-year-old woman who lives at Sokale Roundabout, Dutse Alhaji in the FCT.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Anjuguri Manzah, “following prompt action taken by the Command, the 406 Peugeot car and some of the items robbed have so far been recovered.
