Hey guys, so I have a story to tell. It's based on true events and involves my mother, her mother, and her grandmother.

The story goes. My mum's mother was mysteriously Ill. This was in the early 60s. She had been ill for a while with no cure in sight.

No one, doctors, or even the top notch native doctors at that point seemed to know what was wrong,or diagnose or cure her illness.

She kept complaining of internal heat, and was convinced that someone or something was stabbing her repeatedly on her head w a long stick.

My mother and her grandmother, were not Christians at this point. So when doctors failed, they resorted to native doctors..

Each native doctor reacted the same. They would first accept treating my grandmother, and half way through suddenly reject treating her.

Someone then referred my grandmother and my mum to a very powerful native doctor with a good success rate. And off they went.

On arrival, both my mum and my grandmother were told that her treatment will last a month, and they would lodge w him all month. They agreed

One night, a few weeks into the treatment. The native doctor approached my mum. He seemed very afraid.

He told her that he knew who was causing my grandmother's illness. But this person ws so powerful that he ws afraid for his life & his kid's

This said person had come to warn him in the spirit world, and had threatened to kill him and his children.

He also explained to my mother, that that was why other native doctors had rejected treating my grandmother.

He didn't reveal who this person was, but he said he would give my mother a clue and so he did.

He told her that the first person, who came visiting my grandmother the following day, ws the powerful force responsible for her illness.

The following day early in the morning. My mum and my grandmother received a visitor. It was my mother's grandmother.

If what the native doctor said was true, then my great grandmother, my mother's grandmother, and her mother's mum was a very powerful witch

My mother could not believe it. Her grandmother was very caring and had cried and mourned along side her ill and dying daughter.

When she went to meet the native doctor. He reaffirm what he said earlier and gave my mother more clues

He told her to observe carefully. That she had been monitoring them ( my mother and her mother)very carefully & alwys knew where they were

He took my mum and her mother to a place & told my mother to observe carefully dt her grandmother would pass very soon. Sure enough she did

My mother was convinced. But the native doctor said there was nothing he could do. Her witchcraft was so powerful, her mum was doomed to die

So off my mother and my grandmother went to the hospital to wait, they felt defeated. They lost hope.

While in the hospital. My grandmother had dream. In this dream she heard someone singing a beautiful Gospel song in Igbo.

Both she and my mother were not Christians. After this dream, she was convinced her only hope was church. They decided to go to church.

They went to a very popular church in the East at that time . Ufuma Prayer Band. Most easterners should know it.

he first thing they told my mother and her mother to do was to go home and get read of all fetish items, every single one of them.

So they burnt all their charms, amulets, concoctions and what not.

They then told my mother and her mother to go and make restitution to everyone she had offended in her town. Everyone she could remember.

After she had done all of this, they prayed for her. Warning her to avoid all communication or contact with my great grandmother the witch

My grandmother gradually started to receive her healing.
One day my mother decided to confront her grandmother to hear from d horse's mouth

My grandmother confirmed that she was a witch. She had become one to win her husbands affection, & she had to sacrifice her daughter or die

Long story short. My grandmother was healed and my great grandmother died. She had worms coming all over her body.

Nollywood is real he concluded
